Greetings, My family loves Hainanese Chicken and Rice, I'd like to source the Yellow Skin Chicken that is used to make it with the thicker fat in the skin. I did find some online but they seem quite expensive from where I normally shop. 2 whole chickens that I get from Pendle Hill Meat market are less then the A$14.99 when bought in store. The price for Yellow Skin Chicken is over double the price online. Perhaps I've been shopping too long at Pendle Hill to be aware of the meat prices elsewhere, but if anyone is aware of any other places to buy Yellow Skin Chicken or the original Wenchang Chicken that would be appreciated. submitted by /u/lickety-split1800 [link] [comments]
