I made Smitten Kitchen's Farro & Broccoli last night, and it was quite tasty, but definitely needed something. I threw a can of beans into the tupperware to sit with it before eating it again (and I think I'll be serving it with chevre), but I'm wondering when I make this again, what's the best way to add beans? At which step? With the initial warming of garlic and pepper flakes, so beans are picking up all the flavors from the start? Or with the quick sauteing of the cooked broccoli?
