I'm a recently divorced man who is basically having to start over, and that includes buying cookware for the first time in my life. Cooking was always my wife's department. I've never even researched cookware until today. I have decided on stainless steel (I do not want the toxic non-stick stuff), but in my research, I've learned about fully-clad vs. impact-bonded aluminum base cookware. I understand the reasons that fully-clad is better, but it's obviously much more expensive. My question is this. Am I really going to notice a huge difference in cooking if I go with the cheaper set? It's just me, and I'm not much of a cook; again, my wife did it all. I'm not looking to try to become a professional chef or anything. So, would something like this set from Celphalon do the job just fine for a much lower price than fully-clad stainless steel? submitted by /u/mreid72 [link] [comments]
