Hi everyone, I recently moved into a house a little over a month ago. We have this annoying problem where anytime we cook anything (heavily spiced foods, or just anything on the stove/heat), the smell just lingers around the house. I’ve made simmer pots (cinnamon, star anise, lemon & oranges, apples etc..) to help with the smell and we’ve turned on our fan and I’ve opened windows before, during, and after cooking and the smell has just lingered. We cleaned our HVAC before we moved in because they were atrocious— and my family and I clean almost everyday. But the smell won’t go away. Any advice? submitted by /u/elzeinj [link] [comments]
