I was going to try a recipe today that I found on Instagram. I'm a reasonably good home cook, and I've looked at this recipe and found no reason to think it can't be done. https://lovelydelites.com/the-viral-no-fold-ginger-chicken-dumplings/ My question is that it looks like she's cooking it in a ceramic pan (maybe?) on the Instagram post, and I don't have one of those. I have a stainless steel (Faberware) skillet, a cast iron skillet, and a non-stick pan that I think is probably too small. I figure it should work so long as I use enough oil and if I keep an eye on the heat, right? I'm torn between the cast iron and stainless steel. My preference is the latter just for weight, but I wasn't sure if one is better. The cast iron pan is seasoned, although I don't use it a ton. submitted by /u/LazyCrocheter [link] [comments]
