For starters, I’m not a cook, but I’ve always made the Chuy’s creamy jalapeño sauce successfully using the same recipe. Anyway, I made it last night for a family event that’s happening tonight (we’re having Mexican food), and this batch came out way too salty with an overpowering ranch flavor. It’s drowning out everything else. Does anyone know any tricks to tone that down? I thought about adding water, but I read that it can just make it bland instead of balancing it out. Please help 😅 The recipe I used: https://www.modernhoney.com/chuys-creamy-jalapeno-cilantro-dip-dressing/ submitted by /u/gafldentist [link] [comments]
