"Easter Dinner Dilemma: To Wellington or Not to Wellington? For many, Easter is a time to showcase culinary skills, but for one Reddit user, a high-end beef wellington has become an unexpected source of stress. A pricey cut of beef, meant to be the star of the show, has turned out to be the wrong shape for the intricate dish. As the user weighs the risks of attempting a complicated recipe for the first time, or opting for a simpler roast, many can relate to the anxiety of a culinary mistake. Will they brave the challenge of a beef wellington, or play it safe with a classic roast?"
I was planning to make a beef wellington for Easter but I’m realising now that the cut I got is not a good shape for it. Should I still try to make it work or should I just do a simple roast? It’s a very expensive cut (and my first time attempting a wellington) so I really don’t want to mess it up https://imgur.com/a/e5w2x6Y submitted by /u/ColinR111 [link] [comments]
