"Egg-cellent Disaster: User's New Pan Turns Black After Cooking Attempt A Reddit user has sparked a heated debate in the cooking community after sharing a shocking photo of their brand-new Tramontina pan, which turned a rust-brown color and developed black spots after cooking a simple egg dish. The pan's owner, who posted the image on the r/Cooking subreddit, claims to have followed the manufacturer's instructions for preheating and cooking the egg. However, the result was far from what they expected, leaving many to wonder if the user's cooking technique was to blame or if the pan itself is defective. As the cooking world weighs in on the issue, one thing is clear: this pan's fate is far from over."
Hi everyone, i recently bought a Tramontina pan and I was trying out cooking an egg. I heated it up to where the water was jumping around and as soon as I put my egg on, it became blackened as you can see in the midsection and the rest of it rust brown. Did I ruin it already? https://imgur.com/a/kwvNHMK submitted by /u/warwitchxx [link] [comments]
