Past few years I've noticed both Smithfield and the store brand of Spiral hams that I have bought no longer include a sugar/glaze packet. Depending on the bran, some you would sprinkle the packet over the ham while preparing it for the oven and other's, when the it was part way done, you 'd heat a little water in a sauce pan and and the packet and stir until thick and smooth and drizzle over the ham than finish baking it. submitted by /u/Shafe89 [link] [comments]
