I’ve been combing reviews all day and comparing options listed on the serious eats article: https://www.seriouseats.com/best-kitchen-torches-5196057. The best options seem to be the following: https://a.co/d/03ee76vp (Bernzomatic Trigger Start Torch - TS 8000) https://a.co/d/0ilsWIW3 (Iwatani PRO2) https://a.co/d/0alpzX0r (Rösle 12844) https://a.co/d/0hqY36EH (Messermeister Cheflamme Culinary Torch) I would be eternally grateful if anyone could share recommendations for any torches, not just the above. There are so many options that it’s becoming overwhelming! I plan to use it at home, but longevity is very important to me as well as consistency and ease of use. I don’t mind something that has a learning curve though. I’ll mainly be using it for desserts. submitted by /u/apeirophobicmyopic [link] [comments]
